HIGH QUALITY TEACHING AND EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

We have an excellent reputation for the quality of teaching we provide. As a certified member of internal auditors, NIS ISO 9001-2008. This is reflected in our excellent Quality Assurance Results.

All trainees belong to one of the PMMI’s faculties which are described in detail within our courses and categories in the home page. Each faculty is responsible for devising and delivery programmes in addition to leading the PMMI’S research and commercial activities in their particular specialisms. Leading edge research and partnerships with industry ensure that courses are up to date and relevant.

Many PMMI facilities have national and international reputations for the excellent standard of their work. This is reflected by their continued success in national trainee competitions, commercial tendering and in the finding of external auditing bodies.

Our most recent prestigious incubator ownership award winning competition in second immersion program from Silicon Valley Nigerian Economic Development (SVNED), in 2018 and our certification from the world industry experts, ORACE , BRAIN BENCH and NIIT. The outcome of this was positive for our incubator. It confirmed that our arrangements for managing the quality of academic provision are sound and command confidence. The PMMI, was commended for the through approached it has taken to addressing the findings of previous works and trainings.

We look forward to even better results in the next opportunities. We are also planning to invite or undergo auditing assessment from Higher Education Funding Council (HEFCE) and the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) in UK, soon, as our next quality assurance loft height.

LEARNING RESOURCES

Both PMMI hubs in Nigeria and Africa offer learning resources for our trainees and research students. We encourage you to take advantage of the PMMI, e-library , under PMM’s Media Office, network which include appreciable books and newspaper and journals tittles as well as electronics information sources. We also offer audiovisual equipment, video and CD-ROM alternative learning media. Both e-libraries are linked to a national network which has potential access to literally thousands of learning resources.

Our e-library also provide drop-in computer suites (with access to word processing and other general application software) , a choice of study environment including silent study, group study and seminars rooms.

TRAINEE LEARNING ADVISORY SERVICE

Staff in Trainee learning Advisory Service (SLAS) work closely with tutors in the facilities to support trainee's learning development and provide guidance to trainees on an individual and group basis.

At PMMI, we guaranteed 97% of our trainees entering employment , further study of a combination of the two within six months of completing their courses in our incubator.

We recognize the needs of trainee who are studying at different levels in particular those related to the importance placed on personal responsibility and autonomy.
